Learning to Lean on God When the Storm Won’t End
Learning to Lean on God When the Storm Won’t End
Some storms pass quickly.
Others seem to linger for years.
Abuse.
Addiction.
Divorce.
Loss.
Loneliness.
Grief.
Disappointment.
Many believers reach a point where they whisper,
“God, I can’t take anymore.”
That is where longsuffering begins.
Longsuffering is not pretending you’re fine.
It is choosing faith when you are tired.
God Is Your Strength
“God is my strength and power” (2 Samuel 22:33).
God never asks you to endure alone. He supplies strength for every season.
Grace Meets You in Weakness
“My grace is sufficient for you” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Your weakness is not disqualifying. It is where God shows up most clearly.
You Are Never Abandoned
“He will not leave you nor forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Storms may isolate you emotionally, but God remains near.
Rest Is Available
“Come to Me… and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
Rest is found in relationship, not escape.
Your Mind Matters
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2).
God changes how you think so He can change how you live.
Trust Calms Fear
“In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid” (Psalm 56:11).
Fear loses power when faith grows.
If you are walking through a long storm, remember:
God sees you.
God is strengthening you.
God is shaping you.
God is walking with you.
Lean on Him.
He will carry you.
