Why Jesus Refused to Avoid Samaria—and Why We Should Stop Avoiding Ours
Avoiding Samaria was the respectable choice. Jesus chose obedience instead. When Scripture says He “had to” pass through Samaria, it points to divine purpose, not a lack of options. Jesus intentionally entered a place marked by division and went looking for someone overlooked. He didn’t wait for her to become acceptable. He met her at the well, named what was true, offered what was living, and turned her shame into a testimony.
You’re going to have “Samarias” too. The hard conversations, the uncomfortable places, the people you’ve written off, the parts of your story you keep circling instead of confronting. Avoidance feels safe, but it also keeps you stuck. Jesus shows us a better way: go where love leads, tell the truth without contempt, and trust that God does some of His best work in the places we’d rather bypass.

Rebuild, Raise Up, Repair: God’s Restoration Plan for Your Life
There are seasons when life feels scattered—like someone kicked over the pieces of your story and walked away. But God never leaves you staring at rubble. He steps into the dust with blueprint in hand, whispering, “We’re rebuilding this… together.”
To rebuild is not to return to who you were.
It’s rising into who you were always meant to become.
To raise up is to stand again—stronger, wiser, steadier—because the God who lifts you doesn’t drop what He picks up.
And to repair isn’t about pretending nothing ever broke. It’s about letting God transform the cracks into places where His glory shines through. The pieces don’t just fit again… they fit better.
This is the work He specializes in:
• Rebuilding what was torn down
• Raising up what fell apart
• Repairing what life fractured
• Restoring what felt beyond reach
If you’re in a season of gathering the broken pieces, take heart—God is already building something beautiful with what you thought was unusable.
The story isn’t over.
The foundation is just beginning.
